Getting Around
Hire a car, or arrange a private transfer — public transport out to the castello is limited.
Allow thirty minutes for the drive from Siena, and plan to arrive at least thirty minutes before the ceremony.
While You’re Here
If you’re making a weekend of it: wander the Piazza del Campo and the Duomo in Siena, climb the towers of San Gimignano, taste your way through the Chianti vineyards, or stroll the medieval streets of Colle di Val d’Elsa just below the castello.
